Tracking, September 11th

This intensive will cover basic information and skills to dog tracking sport as a fun way to engage your dog and build relationship. There will be lots of opportunity to introduce your dog to tracking and the basic methods to help your dog understand the task of ‘following human scent’ (rather than all the other enticing scents of critters). 

 The workshop will run in two sessions:

Theory Session: Friday September 11 from 6:30pm to 8pm  (with no dogs)

 Working Session: Saturday September 12, 2026 from 9:30am to 4:30 pm (with dogs)

Prerequisites: Dogs must be comfortable being unattended in vehicles, dogs must have a ‘down’ behaviour.

Novice Games Class, September 13th

Join Lucy for 4 one-hour classes full of fun games! Games class helps proof your dog’s skills, encourage communication between dog and handler, and best of all are fun for everyone! To successfully participate in Novice Games class, your dog should be able to sit, down, touch, come when called, lie on a mat, perform step-click-treat and cued take it, plus at least the beginnings of down stay. They do not need to be 100% fluent in the above behaviours, but should have the beginning stages of them as we will be using the behaviours in the games we play. Dogs should also:

  • Be 6 months of age as a minimum

  • Have some ability to work with their handler in the presence of other dogs and people

Advanced Games Class, September 24th

  • Be 6 months of age as a minimum

  • Have a minimum of Level Two

  • Have some ability to work with their handler in the presence of other dogs and people

Small Dog Walk, September 12th
CA$199.99

Join us for four weeks of off-leash fun with your small dog! Dogs will have the opportunity to engage in play with one another, as well as practicing recalls and group down stays in a social setting.

Start Date: September 12th, Saturdays, 11am-12pm

Location: Marden Park

Prerequisites: Dogs under 22lbs

Intro to Scent Detection, September 16th
CA$199.99

Join Laura for 4 one hour classes to learn about the sport of scent detection! Scent detection is a fun sport where you and your dog work to find scents such as wintergreen, pine, or anise. Searches are all done on leash, and you can use food throughout a search, even in competition. This intensive will cover the basics of scent detection, including preparing scents, how scent travels, teaching an indicator, and putting it all together in searches.

Start Date: September 16th, 2026, Wednesdays, 6pm to 7pm

Instant Recall I, September 13th
CA$199.99

Join us for 4 one-hour classes devoted to helping you to teach your dog to come when called, instantly and enthusiastically! In dog training, coming when called is referred to as a recall. Your success will depend on practicing what you learn in the classroom in a variety of places such as parks, on the trail or at home. The exercises you learn are fun, practical and address a variety of different tactics for teaching your dog to come when called!

Start Date: September 13th, 2026, Sundays, 3pm-4pm
