EVERY PUPPY DESERVES PUPPY CLASS FREE!*

EVERY PUPPY DESERVES PUPPY CLASS!

At Dogs in the Park we give it to them FREE for Younger Puppies!*

Full Service Puppy Class available for older puppies!

And

Younger puppies may also attend our FREE PUPPY PLAY GROUP!*

EVERY PUPPY DESERVES PUPPY CLASS! Join John ,The Puppy Guy for three information packed weeks of puppy class FOR FREE*. Week one is all about the first weeks at home and can be taken the week before you get your puppy. We will teach you all about what you need to get, what you can expect, and how to bring home your latest best friend. In weeks two and three, we will help you to learn how to get your puppy to toilet on cue, to accept veterinary handling, to leave anything that is not his and much, much more!

WHAT IS MORE FUN THAN WATCHING YOUR NEW PUPPY PLAY? Watching him play in a FREE DOGS IN THE PARK PUPPY PLAY GROUP! Designed for young puppies, and run in our safe, indoor facility by a certified professional dog trainer, we help you to help your puppy to learn safe play skills. You will learn to recognize safe and dangerous puppy play, and what to do if your puppy encounters dangerous situations out in the world. You get to be your puppy's hero! We also teach you how to teach your puppy that people are safe even if they sometimes look funny or different. Meet new people, new puppies, and have fun!

WHAT IS THE CATCH? No Catch! At Dogs in the Park we believe that every puppy, and especially YOUR puppy deserves puppy class and a supervised puppy play group. We know that puppies who attend puppy class are much less likely to end up in the shelter later on. This is our contribution to preventing dogs from ending up in the shelter. It is that simple. We want you and your puppy to have the happily ever after that we have with our own dogs, and we want to show you how to make that a reality.

IS THIS ONLY FOR CLIENTS OF DOGS IN THE PARK? Heck no! This is for everyone with a puppy of the right age, with their first round of shots.

HOW MUCH DOES THIS COST? It is FREE!*

HOW DO YOU JOIN? Email us at info@dogsinthepark.ca with your name, your puppy's name, his breed (or mix) and his date of birth. Everyone must come to one intake class without their dog to learn the rules, and then you can come each week while you're puppy is young enough!* To get the most out of this program we suggest coming out the week before your puppy comes home.

WE ARE ALREADY REGISTERED FOR PUPPY CLASS SOMEWHERE ELSE; CAN WE STILL COME? Absolutely! We welcome puppies who are attending classes elsewhere. There are many fine places to go to puppy class, and this opportunity won?t interfere with your classes at all. Come out, join in the fun, and meet other new puppy owners!

CAN WE COME TO BOTH EVERY PUPPY DESERVES PUPPY CLASS AND FREE PUPPY PLAY GROUP? You bet! In fact, we hope you do.

WHY WOULD DOGS IN THE PARK DO THIS FOR FREE? At Dogs in the Park we have several reasons for doing this at no charge to you;

  1. We are committed to contributing to our community. We have mentored fourth year vet students for many years, provided professional services to K9 Helpers at a deep discount for over ten years, and donated gift certificates to local charities for auctions and door prizes. Now we can help more people by sharing our knowledge with new puppy owners!
  2. We know that our dog parks are a great resource for meeting other dogs and puppies, but they are not suited to puppies under 14 weeks. We sanitize the puppy room before each play group so that your puppy can meet puppies his own age in a safe controlled environment.
  3. We hope that by providing this FREE service, we will be able to decrease the number of dogs who are surrendered to shelters. Dogs who go to a puppy class and have great play skills are less likely to run into behaviour problems later on.
  4. We love meeting new people and puppies!
